The College of Law is one of the colleges of University of Khorfakkan, which was established by Emiri Decree No. 40 of 2022 regarding the establishment of the University, and Decree-Law No. 1 of 2022 regarding the organization of the University and its executive regulations.
This comes to meet the needs of the society for specialists in LAW at the graduate and undergraduate levels. The College of Law is one of the first colleges on which the edifice of the University was built when it was a branch of University of Sharjah in 2007/2008 (previously college of Sharia and Islamic Studies), Since then, a number of academic programs have been offered.
The college was established to meet the need of the local and regional community for specialists in LAW at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels In fact, the college was established back in 2007/2008 when the University was a branch of UOS, under two colleges (Sharia and Islamic Studies, and Law).

This program aims to provide students with a strong foundation in Islamic knowledge, including belief, advocacy, interpretation of verses and hadith. It also aims to equip students with the necessary scientific and practical skills to become successful teachers, researchers, and preachers. Additionally, the program focuses on building a balanced Islamic personality for students, emphasizing belief, worship, and behavior, and strengthening their values of belonging to their religion and nation.
An accredited four-year program qualifying graduates to practice law in the UAE, the LL.B. blends theoretical study with applied training. Courses are delivered in both Arabic and English, ensuring linguistic and professional competence in local and international legal contexts. The curriculum emphasizes legal research, writing, digital competency, and courtroom advocacy through moot courts, internships, and case-based learning. Students acquire the knowledge, skills, and ethics required for success in public and private sector employment, corporate practice, and international legal work.
