Recognizing the increasing demand for skilled professionals in the field, University of Khorfakkan (UKF) introduces its cutting-edge Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science program. The BSc in Computer Science program (BSCS) at the UKF is not just an academic endeavor; it is a commitment to empowering the local and global community. In the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where innovation and technological progress are at the forefront of national agendas, the need for proficient computer scientists is more pressing than ever. Our program is tailored to address this demand with three tracks (Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Games Development), producing graduates who will play a crucial role in driving digital transformation, innovation, and sustainable development in the UAE and beyond.

Objectives

  • The main objective of the CCIS is to cultivate highly qualified professionals in computer science, who possess advanced competencies in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and digital game development areas.
  • The curricula of those three concentrations are structured to promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication skills. Through this integrated educational approach, the College prepares graduates to contribute meaningfully to sustainable development, technological innovation, and the evolving needs across various professional sectors.

BSc in Computer Science — Cybersecurity

Equips the students with the knowledge and skills necessary to protect digital systems and critical infrastructures against cyber threats. It emphasises the design, implementation, and management of advanced security solutions. It also prepares graduates to address emerging challenges in information security and digital resilience.

BSc in Computer Science — Artificial Intelligence

Focuses on the principles and applications of intelligent systems, applying machine learning techniques, data analytics, and computational modelling. Students in this route will acquire the theoretical foundation and practical skills necessary to design, develop, and implement innovative AI-driven solutions that address real-world challenges across diverse domains.

BSc in Computer Science — Game Development

Provides comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in the design and development of interactive digital environments. It prepares graduates to create engaging applications for entertainment, education, simulation, and digital media industries, integrating creativity with advanced technical expertise.
