University of Khorfakkan (UKF) celebrated the launch of its smart system in enterprise resource planning (ERP), which was prepared in cooperation with "Oracle" and "Pansoft" with the aim of facilitating the process of submitting electronic applications in the various services provided by the university departments, and access to databases accurately and quickly with the latest digital methods. In the presence of Prof. Ahmed Al-Shamma’a, Chancellor of the University, and Dr. Muhammad Khamis Al-Othmani, Director of General of the Academy of Police Sciences in Sharjah and a member of the Board of Trustees of the University, and Dr. Saleh Al-Lahibi, Deputy Assistant Chancellor of University of Sharjah for Branches Affairs in Al Dhaid. The ceremony included the presentation of an introductory video about the new system and its services provided to users. Ms. Sharifa Karam, Director of the Information Technology Canter at the university, gave a comprehensive overview of the mechanism of work of the system and its importance in facilitating the workflow between the various departments of the university, and the Human Resources and Procurement Department participated in explaining the uses of the system, each according to its scope of work, and presenting the extent to which it benefits from the features of the smart system (ERP) to facilitate the process of submitting electronic applications. In addition to linking departments in one itinerary to achieve optimal utilization and keep pace with the latest technological developments. The ceremony was attended by the Vice chancellors, deans of colleges, directors of departments and a number of faculty and administrative staff, and concluded by honoring the team in charge of preparing the system and those contributing to its success.
