MOU between Khorfakkan and Al Qasimia

With the aim of building bridges of cooperation in the scientific, cultural and educational fields, and exchanging expertise, academic experiences and research products, University of Khorfakkan and Al Qasimia University signed a memorandum of understanding, by the chancellors, Prof. Ahmed Al-Shamma’a, and Prof. Dr. Awwad Al-Khalaf. The terms of the memorandum include cooperation in developing teaching methods and academic programs offered by both parties, enriching the field of research studies and scientific research, enhancing practical training and qualifying students for labor markets, in addition to jointly supervising and discussing students' university theses, establishing joint arbitration committees specialized in reviewing and correcting scientific journals issued by the two universities, and contributing to promoting the publication of academic articles and books accomplished by them.Scientists and professors, in addition to organizing and attending joint scientific, cultural and educational events and activities to ensure the optimal benefit for the students of the two universities. The signing ceremony was attended by prof. Ali Hilal Al-Naqbi, Vice Chancellor of UKF and his accompanying delegation, and from Al Qasimia University, Prof. Hassan Al-Malkh, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Mr. Salem Al-Jarwan, Vice Chancellor for Financial and Administrative Affairs, and Mr. Ali Al-Naqbi, Director of the Public Relations Department.
