UKF Welcomes High School Students

His Excellency Professor Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Shamma’a, Chancellor of University of Khorfakkan, and his Vice, Professor Ali Hilal Al-Naqbi, welcomed high school students at the “Second Open Day”, which is organized by the Public Relations Department with the aim of introducing the academic programs and disciplines offered by the university, in addition to explaining the admission and registration requirements, presenting study plans and future fields of work. The university received over two days more than 800 male and female students from 15 public and private schools in the Eastern Region. The chancellor praised the efforts made by the colleges and departments that contributed to presenting their capabilities and services related to students through the pavilions designated for each of them, pointing to the keenness of the University to attract distinguished students to enhance their future directions and help them choose their paths in various colleges and modern scientific and academic programs and keeping pace with the requirements of the labor market, in addition to focusing on all aspects that meet the needs of the students and refine their personalities through extracurricular activities and various community initiatives, stressing the university's full readiness to help students who are about to study at the university. While school students and teachers praised the level of organization, and the excellence of the capabilities, services, and activities that the University provides to its students within the highest standards of quality of teaching and learning, expressing their happiness with the opportunity that the university provided for them to learn about various scientific specializations and academic fields, which would help them determine their future paths in accordance with their inclinations and ambitions.
