The College of Sharia and Law in cooperation with the College of Arts, Sciences and Information Technology organized : A scientific symposium entitled "The Most Common Mistakes of Postgraduate Students in Their Theses" In order to put a good foundation for postgraduate students in the stages of preparing their theses, and to present different student experiences, the College of Sharia and Law, in cooperation with the College of Arts, Sciences and Information Technology, organized a scientific symposium entitled "The Most Common Mistakes of Postgraduate Students in Their Theses", in the presence of a number of members of the two bodies. Teaching, administrative and university students. The symposium dealt with a variety of axes, in which a number of professors and academics at the University of Khorfakkan participated. The first axis was about procedural errors, in which Prof. Dr. Noman Atallah, Professor of Public International Law at the Faculty of Sharia and Law at the University, presented a research paper entitled "Procedural errors that may occur in which postgraduate students in university theses.” Prof. Dr. Maher Abu Shawish, Professor of Jurisprudence and its Principles at the Faculty of Sharia and Law at the university, participated in a research paper entitled “Errors related to the preparation of the thesis plan.” As for the second axis, it dealt with objective errors, through which Dr. Zizit Mustafa, Associate Professor, presented At the Faculty of Arts, Sciences and Information Technology at the university, her research paper is titled “Methodological Problems Facing Postgraduate Students in Preparing Social Science Research.” As for Dr. Bashar Talal Al-Momani, a faculty member at the Faculty of Sharia and Law and legal advisor at Khorfakkan University, he presented a research paper entitled “Grave objective errors most common in legal university theses”, and then the student Jumana Khamis Alnaqbi from the Faculty of Law Sharia and Law, an intervention entitled "Evaluation of a Realistic Experience of a Master's Student in Law, Thesis and Research as a Model", as part of the evaluation axis that came about postgraduate students' evaluation of their theses and research. The scientific discussions summarized a variety of recommendations, including, the importance of reading and a lot of reading in order to choose the research topic with complete care and care to follow the directives of the specialized supervisor, and work to collect the scientific material from different sources while looking at foreign sources, in addition to the importance of focusing in the thesis work plan and not rushing In preparing it, clearly formulating the problem while strengthening the introduction and conclusion, choosing the type of curriculum in accordance with the objectives set, in addition to achieving scientific honesty, linguistic auditing, and forming a sound personal opinion.
