Family Protection in Light of Contemporary Technology

Within the framework of raising awareness of the importance of the family and to identify the most prominent factors affecting it, the College of Sharia and Law at University of Khorfakkan (UKF), organized a scientific symposium entitled "Family Protection in Light of Contemporary Technology”, which included a dialogue session in which lawyer Alia Al-Ameri and a number of faculty members in the college participated, in the presence of Professor. Ali Hilal Al-Naqbi, Vice Chancellor, and Professor. Suleiman Mahmoud, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. Moderated by Dr. Sheikha Al-Tafaq, Assistant Professor at the College of Sharia and Law, lawyer Alia Al-Ameri presented the first axis on "The Power and Influence of the Word on Communication platforms", and Dr. Samia Al-Fateh Taha, Assistant Professor at the College of Sharia and Law, presented the second axis, which was entitled "Sharia Legitimate Controls for Family Protection", and Dr. Nada Al-Fil, Associate Professor at the College of Sharia and Law, presented the third axis entitled "Smart Protection of the Family - A Study in the Light of the National Family Policy March 2018". Professor. Atta Al-Mannan Jaafar, Dean of the College of Arts, Sciences and Information Technology, attended along with Dr. Khaled Daqani, Acting Dean of the College of Sharia and Law, Dr. Huda Al-Naqbi, Director of Student Affairs Department, and a number of faculty and administrative staff and university students.
