In the interest of Khorfakkan University to expand the circle of its relations and cooperation with various scientific and cultural institutions from different countries of the world, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Shamma, Chancellor of Khorfakkan University, received Prof. Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Saadi, Dean of the College of Agricultural and Marine Sciences at Sultan Qaboos University in the Sultanate of Oman, to discuss ways of joint cooperation between the two universities in the fields of scientific research, exchange of academic and student experiences, and practical training, and the meeting was attended by Dr. Abdullah Al-Mughni, Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs and Public Relations. During the meeting, many discussions were held on the possibility of joint cooperation between the two universities in various academic fields to ensure the success of the teaching and learning system in accordance with the highest international scientific and knowledge standards, and in line with the strategy and vision of Khorfakkan University, and the services and facilities provided by the two universities to its students interested in studying marine sciences and marine biology were discussed, in addition to scientific equipment and facilities equipped with the latest technologies to provide all means of comfort and stability for students during their educational journey, and the possibility of cooperation in developing Joint training plans and programs to exchange students and strengthen their theoretical expertise with applied work, in addition the importance of enhancing and developing scientific research skills to prepare joint solid scientific research in various environmental issues, finding appropriate solutions to various challenges facing the world, and exchanging experiences and expertise between the two universities to enhance efforts and ensure the highest quality in education for students.
