KHORFAKKAN UNIVERSITY ORGANIZES ORIENTATION DAY

The Chancellor of University of Khorfakkan, Prof. Ahmed Ibrahim ALShammaa. Along with Dr. Mona Ali AlMulla, director of PR department and media center, and members of the faculty and staff attended, on Tuesday, the first orientation day for new students. The event started with the national anthem and a welcoming speech by the chancellor. In his speech, he said, "This is certainly the result of the wise vision of H.H Sheikh Dr.Sultan Bin Muhammed AL Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University". He added, "The world class campus which includes four colleges, and renowned faculty with academic heft work together with staff, professionals and students as partners in success. We encourage our students to excel in their academic performance, overcome obstacles and challenges, and develop their skills. Consequently, we encourage and motivate them to live a fruitful and productive university life through excelling in their academic performance and participating in extracurricular activities that challenge them, reinforce their creative skills, and strengthen their social responsibility and participate in the development process. The massive efforts, progressive steps, and relentless pursuit by all of you will make university of Khorfakkan rank among outstanding universities". He continued The event familiarized students with the university's resources and services, registration and admission processes, cultural activities, and academic faculties and programs.
