In preparation for COP28, UKF and UOE launch "We are the Possible" program

In conjunction with UAE’s preparation in Gathering the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change parties COP28. To support global efforts towards addressing climate change, University of Khorfakkan (UKF), in cooperation with the University of Exeter (UOE), announced the launch of the activities of their program "We are the Possible”, which will be organized by the two universities on December 07 at Mohammed bin Rashid Library in Dubai. The program aims to link Art, Science, Environment and Health, and promote mutual dialogue on finding sustainable and more effective solutions to improve the quality of life in communities, in addition to learning about best practices in the field of sustainable development, preserving marine environment and protecting aquatic life from the effects of climate change. Also, the program intends to engage school and university students from UAE and UK to support their creative and innovative skills in recognizing environmental challenges and threats and developing appropriate solutions to enhance our planet's readiness and prosperity for future generations. The program will include a variety of theatrical and artistic performances that reflect the participation of a large number of school and university students from around the world, in addition to the participation of a group of scientists, researchers, artists and specialists in various scientific, environmental and artistic fields in a unique opportunity to exchange experience, inspiring each other, and support the role of youth in protecting aquatic life , and advancing sustainable development.
