University of Khorfakkan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Emirates Association for Lawyers and Legal to strengthen cooperation in legal, academic, and professional fields, and to support efforts aimed at promoting legal awareness and community service in line with the UAE’s vision for advancing the legal sector and preparing qualified national professionals. The MoU was signed on behalf of the university by Dr. Saif Khamis Al Naqbi, while Counselor Zayed Saeed Al Shamsi signed on behalf of the association, in the presence of several officials and specialists from both sides. The agreement reflects the commitment of both parties to building a strategic partnership that supports the exchange of legal and institutional expertise and enhances collaboration in implementing joint initiatives and programs aimed at advancing legal practice. The partnership will also support the organization of specialized conferences, seminars, and workshops that contribute to spreading legal awareness and enhancing professional practices. The MoU further aims to support training programs and provide practical and professional training opportunities for law students and graduates. It also seeks to strengthen cooperation with legal entities and law firms to help students develop their skills and prepare for the job market. In addition, the agreement includes the exchange of legal studies, research, and publications, as well as regular meetings to review best practices and explore future areas of collaboration between both parties.
