Hunt for Diamonds with UKF

In an innovative move aimed at enhancing the culture of creativity and innovation and supporting those interested in the field of entrepreneurship, University of Khorfakkan (UKF), announced the launch of its entrepreneurship competition under the theme Hunt for Diamonds .This competition offers students, faculty members, and staff the opportunity to present their creative ideas from January 14, , to 28, 2025, with the goal of turning them into distinctive business opportunities in reality. This announcement was made during the competition's launch event, which was attended by Professor Ali Hilal Al Naqbi, Chancellor of the University, his Vices, deans of colleges, department heads, faculty and staff members, as well as students. The competition is part of the university’s efforts to promote the importance of creative thinking and the generation of new ideas. Participants are invited to fill out an online form that includes essential questions about their business ideas and their feasibility. These submissions will be collected, analyzed, and classified by experts and specialists in entrepreneurship and innovation, leading to the final selection process at the end of February. The University will offer valuable prizes to the winners of the top positions, along with support for promising ideas by transforming them into successful real-world commercial projects through training and mentorship. Through Hunt for Diamonds, the University aims to discover hidden ideas that could bring about a real change in the world of business and entrepreneurship, contributing to sustainable development in both the local and global communities.
