Driven by a firm belief that community partnerships, empowerment of talents, and support for students and graduates’ pathways are essential pillars of academic success, the Community Affairs Sector at University of Khorfakkan plays a pivotal role in strengthening the University’s presence as an active partner in development through innovative initiatives that support the realization of its vision and mission.
The dedicated Community Affairs team is committed to empowering individuals and delivering programs and projects that foster constructive engagement between the University and its surrounding community, while supporting efforts to enhance quality of life and knowledge. The team also places strong emphasis on developing the skills of students and staff through training and professional development programs that keep pace with rapid changes and labor market requirements, opening broader horizons for continuous learning and capacity building.
Special attention is given to graduates as a central focus of the team’s work, through initiatives aimed at strengthening their connection with the University, supporting their professional journeys, and providing platforms for networking and participation. Graduates are regarded as ambassadors of the University in their respective fields, with continuous engagement seen as a key factor in reinforcing the network of achievement and impact linking the University to society.
